It is remarkable that three countries that has the “all-mens-right” is not mentioned in your pages. Both Norway and Finland and Iceland allows free camping in the nature. I do not know the legal conditions in Finland and Iceland, but in Norway the rules are as follows:
You may put up a tent anywhere on unfarmed land as long as it is 150 metres away from habitated houses or huts. The entire law is here in enlish version, it is paragraph 9 that deals with camping/ tenting. http://www.regjeringen.no/en/doc/Laws/Acts/Outdoor-Recreation-Act.html?id=172932
